Seventh Avenue is undergoing a dramatic revitalization, and the removal of the reverse (suicide) lane
will greatly improve our neighborhoods and our sense of community. It will reduce the burden on our Fire
and Police departments because it will reduce accidents, as well as lower auto insurance rates. Eliminating
the reverse lane, and installing left turn arrows at major arteries will restore a normal traffic flow
and reduce the amount of vehicles cutting through our neighborhoods.
